About the role
Teestone Hotels & Apartments is a modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just 15 minutes from Muritala Muhammed International Airport. The hotel offers a quiet and relaxing setting with contemporary amenities, including a rooftop bar and a suspended swimming pool. We are seeking a reliable and professional Hotel Porter to join our team and help create a memorable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
- Assist guests with carrying and transporting luggage to and from their rooms.
- Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel amenities and services.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Assist with loading and unloading guest belongings from vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
- Deliver messages, packages, and other items to guest rooms when required.
- Provide directions and information about local attractions, transportation, and hotel facilities.
- Support the front desk and other departments as needed.
- Ensure guest safety and security by following hotel policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/High School Certificate or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Physical ability to lift and carry luggage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Good knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards.
