About the role
Teestone Hotels & Apartments is a modern boutique hotel located in Ikeja, just 15 minutes from Muritala Muhammed International Airport. We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Operations Supervisor to lead our daily activities in Ojodu Berger, Lagos. This full-time position focuses on maintaining high operational standards and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations across all hotel departments.
- Ensure guests receive excellent service and resolve any complaints promptly.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to hotel policies.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and maintaining adequate staffing levels.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure smooth communication.
- Monitor inventory levels and report operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
- Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management.
- Assist in staff training, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
- Support revenue-generating activities and occupancy targets.
- Handle emergency situations and take appropriate corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, HND, or equivalent in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in hotel operations or hospitality supervision.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
