About the role
J3 Foods and Store International is an FMCG distributor with over eight years of experience. The company operates branches in Lagos, Ibadan, Ogun, Ondo, and Osun states. We are looking for an experienced female cashier to join our team in Oke Ado, Oyo on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Log and follow up on orders to ensure timely processing and dispatch.
- Maintain records of customer complaints and their resolutions.
- Track direct buyer history, including preferences, purchase quantities, and feedback.
- Work with the MD to build and maintain relationships with direct buyers.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding dispatch status and delivery timelines.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, email, or in person.
- Confirm customer orders and verify item availability.
- Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams to track order status.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain an organized customer database for direct buyers and repeat clients.
- Share customer insights with marketing and sales teams.
Requirements
- Experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong communication skills across multiple channels.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and databases.
- Professional and friendly demeanor.
