About the role
A leading manufacturer of plastics, PVC pipes, and cables is seeking two experienced Expatriate Factory Managers to lead operations at their facilities in Ota and Igbesa, Ogun State. This full-time or contract position involves overseeing production, maintenance, and administration to ensure efficiency and minimal downtime. The role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong background in manufacturing and a commitment to high standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee factory operations to ensure quality output and efficiency.
- Supervise the entire workflow to meet deliverables and deadlines.
- Ensure scheduled maintenance of machinery to prevent breakdowns.
- Develop production plans and schedules based on demand and inventory.
- Set and implement operating and quality standards.
- Supervise and evaluate production personnel, identifying and executing training needs.
- Determine necessary resources, including workforce and raw materials.
- Enforce health and safety precautions.
Requirements
- B.Eng or HND in Production, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of work experience in plastics, cables, PVC pipes, or related manufacturing.
- At least 5 years of experience in Nigeria.
- Must be less than 50 years of age.
- Currently residing in Nigeria.
- Available for physical interviews within one week.
- Strong English language communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and strong leadership skills.
