About the role
The Place, a fast-growing Nigerian hospitality conglomerate, is seeking an experienced Executive Private (Home) Chef. You will be responsible for preparing meals in a private home in Lekki Phase I, Lagos, tailored to the family’s preferences and dietary needs. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.
Responsibilities
- Plan customized menus and shop for high-quality, fresh ingredients.
- Prepare a variety of meals using techniques such as baking, grilling, steaming, and boiling.
- Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization standards.
- Handle ingredient storage, waste reduction, and proper disposal.
- Present, garnish, and arrange final dishes for service.
Requirements
- Professional training in culinary arts and substantial experience in food service.
- Proven work experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of different cuisines and ability to adapt recipes for special dietary needs.
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations and health compliance.
- Willingness to work in Lekki, Lagos.
