Hilton Worldwide is seeking a dedicated Engineer – Technician to join their team in Abuja. This full-time position focuses on maintaining the hotel’s physical safety and functionality while contributing to exceptional guest experiences. You will be part of a global hospitality team dedicated to providing warmth and service.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer requests for electrical repairs and accommodate electrical needs for displays and booths in a timely manner.
- Perform preventive maintenance and testing of all electrical systems, including disassembly, replacement, cleaning, and repair.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment according to wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer instructions.
- Maintain light fixtures by replacing bulbs and making necessary repairs to sustain lighting standards.
- Work at heights up to 30 feet using ladders or high lifts as required.
- Set up and break down power and lighting equipment for exhibits, meetings, and banquets, including lifting equipment up to 50kg.
- Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of LV equipment in the facility.
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot electric motors and other electrical equipment.
- Experience using multi-meters, hand tools, and power tools.
- Capability to perform preventative maintenance for all electrical equipment in the building.
- Willingness to work at heights and lift heavy materials as part of daily duties.
