About the role
Tenaris is a leading global manufacturer of tubular products for the oil, gas, and industrial sectors. We are seeking an Employee Relations Leader to join our Human Resources department in Onne, Rivers. In this position, you will act as a strategic business partner, working closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and foster a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor HR policies related to benefits, safety, training, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead strategic workforce planning to meet current and future human capital needs.
- Manage day-to-day employee relations, ensuring timely resolution of workplace issues.
- Build strong relationships with employee representatives and handle collective bargaining or dispute resolution.
- Utilize HR analytics and tools like Microsoft Power BI to drive data-driven decisions.
- Coach and develop HR specialists to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degrees or certifications (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) are highly preferred.
- Minimum of five years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on employee relations.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or multinational environments is ideal.
- Comprehensive understanding of Nigerian Labour Laws and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Power BI.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
