About the role
Huko Advisory Services Limited is seeking a dedicated ELV Technician to join our team in Lagos. This is a full-time position focused on maintaining and repairing electrical and extra low voltage systems. You will play a key part in ensuring our clients’ facilities operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Identify electrical and ELV problems using various testing devices.
- Respond to fault requests and perform daily maintenance on systems such as CCTV, smoke detectors, public address systems, access control, smart lighting, and HVAC controls.
- Troubleshoot and repair ELV equipment using hand and power tools.
- Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
- Follow blueprints to ensure correct installation of wiring and equipment.
- Conduct maintenance repairs on old or faulty fixtures.
Requirements
- Minimum of Trade Test 1-3 certification.
- At least two years of experience in ELV maintenance within the facility management sector (preferred).
- Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work after hours, on weekends, and public holidays with short notice.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
