About the role
Green Grass Investment Nigeria Limited (GGI) is a Nigerian company focused on investment, business operations, mining, and industrial activities. As part of its operational expansion, GGI is seeking a dedicated Electrical Technician to join its team in Warra, Kebbi. This full-time position offers a monthly salary of N120,000 to N200,000, along with accommodation, feeding, and medical insurance.
Responsibilities
- Comply with workplace safety standards and operational procedures.
- Inspect electrical systems, machines, and installations.
- Carry out routine electrical maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdown.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults.
- Ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Requirements
- Relevant technical training or certification in Electrical/Mechanical Technology.
- Trade Test Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Technology.
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship training programme.
- 1–4 years of progressive working experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in mining, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- Good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work and reside in Kebbi State.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage.
