About the role
University Press Plc (UPPLC) is one of Nigeria’s foremost publishers of educational and general reading materials. We are looking for a motivated Educational Sales Representative to join our team in Lagos. This role focuses on building strong relationships with educational stakeholders to drive sales of our products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and monitor market trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with school administrators, teachers, and bookstore managers.
- Promote and sell educational products to primary schools, secondary schools, and bookstores in Oshodi, Isolo, and Surulere.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to decision-makers.
Requirements
- BSc or HND in Marketing or a related discipline (minimum Second-Class Lower Division or Lower Credit).
- Minimum of two (2) years of cognate experience in sales or marketing.
- Good knowledge of the publishing industry.
- Computer literacy and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving skills.
- Resident in Lagos or willing to relocate.
- Not more than 35 years of age.
- Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) is an added advantage.
