About the role
GoMyCode is an educational platform dedicated to training top talent in digital skills and connecting them with global opportunities. We are looking for an Educational Consultant to join our team in Ikeja, Lagos. This full-time position focuses on promoting our training programs, supporting students, and driving sales through effective communication and relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to promote and sell GoMyCode products and services.
- Advise students on training plans by understanding their needs and expectations.
- Provide after-sales support and collaborate with other departments to resolve student complaints.
- Manage customer meetings, send reminders via email and phone, and handle registration renewals.
- Accurately enter customer data and notes into the CRM system.
- Participate in marketing activities such as conferences and live events.
- Meet monthly sales goals by effectively managing various types of leads.
- Encourage feedback from students and instructors to improve services.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional products and services.
Requirements
- A university degree from a reputable institution.
- At least one year of work experience in a top start-up.
- Experience in customer support or sales is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to act as a brand ambassador.
- Proactive attitude, honesty, and the ability to resolve customer conflicts.
- Knowledge of the GoMyCode learning method and active learning concepts.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
