About the role
Kimeric Nigeria Limited is seeking a Drilling Rig Offshore Installation (OI) Site Advisor – Level 2 to join their team. The company provides quality onshore and offshore supply and engineering services to the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria and the West Africa sub-region. This role focuses on contributing to safe and efficient drilling activities by addressing Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) concerns.
Responsibilities
- Support drilling operations by addressing SSHE concerns and responding to requests from the drill team.
- Facilitate regular on-site Safety and Health inspections, assessments, and audits.
- Promote adherence to established safety standards and company procedures.
- Observe Safety and Health drills and participate in debriefing meetings to ensure compliance with company requirements.
Requirements
- Relevant offshore or onshore drilling industry experience.
- Advanced knowledge of drilling operations, processes, and safety regulations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health preferred, and/or relevant experience in a closely related position.
- Fluency in English, particularly for technical and business communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of remote drilling operations.
- Ability to work in challenging environments, travel, and stay away from home for extended periods.
- High ethical standards and the ability to work with diverse teams across international locations.
- Strong organizational, technical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills.
