About the role
Diamond New Energy, also known as Ganfeng Lithium Industry Limited, is a leading mining and mineral processing company based in Nasarawa State, Nigeria. We focus on the exploration, extraction, and processing of lithium. We are currently seeking a Drilling Operation’s Supervisor to join our team on-site in Endo Village, Nasarawa LGA.
Responsibilities
- Plan daily drilling activities, assign tasks, and monitor team performance.
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and mining standards.
- Monitor drilling progress, maintain accurate operational records, and prepare daily reports.
- Inspect drilling equipment, identify mechanical faults, and report maintenance requirements.
- Troubleshoot drilling problems to ensure efficient use of equipment and materials.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of driller operators.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5–15 years of experience in drilling operations, preferably in mining, quarrying, or mineral exploration.
- Strong knowledge of drilling safety standards, hazard identification, risk assessment, and accident prevention.
- Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage drilling teams effectively with a safety-conscious attitude.
- Previous experience in lithium mining or mineral exploration is an added advantage.
- Must be physically fit and willing to work on-site in Endo Village, Nasarawa LGA, Nasarawa State.
