Drill Team Quality Representative II at Scruples Resource Limited

Scruples Resource Limited is a premier oil and gas support services provider based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are currently recruiting for a Drill Team Quality Representative II to join our team in Port Harcourt, Rivers. This is a contract position focused on coordinating quality management activities within the drilling team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional guidance and coordinate activities for the Drill Team Quality Representative (DTQR) network.
  • Ensure DTQRs are oriented to the Drilling Quality Management System and have necessary support.
  • Coordinate with company QA/QC during the Goods Manufacturing Phase.
  • Implement Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and Deviation Request (DR) systems.
  • Manage the implementation of the Drill Team Quality Management Program.
  • Conduct Quality Management System assessments and equipment failure investigations.
  • Manage documentation for purchased goods and oversee contractors’ Quality Management System (QMS) implementation.

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience with rig equipment and related operations.
  • Completion of an ISO 9001 Lead Course.
  • Advanced knowledge of T.H. Hill DS-1 drill string inspections.
  • Advanced knowledge of ASNT inspection practices and oilfield Drilling and Completions Engineering.
  • Strong business writing and computer software skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of quality assurance practices and industry standards (API, ISO 9001, NACE).
