About the role
Kimeric Nigeria Limited is a reputable provider of onshore and offshore supply and engineering services to the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria and the West Africa sub-region. We are looking for an experienced quality professional to join our team. This role focuses on supporting the Drill Team Quality Management Program, coordinating network activities, and ensuring strict compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of contractors’ Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Coordinate and conduct QMS assessments.
- Manage equipment failure investigations and root cause analysis.
- Implement the Drill Team Quality Management Program.
- Provide guidance, tools, and support to DTQRs to meet team objectives.
- Coordinate with company QA/QC teams during the goods manufacturing phase.
- Manage documentation for purchased goods.
- Implement and manage Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) and Deficiency Reporting (DR) systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience in a related position and oilfield operations.
- Strong knowledge of drilling and completions engineering, oilfield operations, and rig equipment.
- Completion of an ISO 9001 Lead Course.
- Thorough knowledge of quality assurance practices and industry standards, including API Standards, API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2, ISO 9001, ASNT, and NACE.
- Advanced knowledge of ASNT inspection practices and T.H. Hill DS-1 drill string inspections.
- Excellent organizational, communication, business writing, and computer skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and work effectively with teams and service providers.
