Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate substation equipment to maintain stable power distribution.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform switching operations according to standard procedures.
- Identify faults, analyze issues, and take corrective actions to prevent system failures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and issue protective tags for maintenance work.
- Maintain accurate logs of operational activities, equipment performance, and outages.
- Communicate effectively with load coordination teams and respond to network disturbances.
Requirements
- National Diploma (OND) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Any relevant certification.
- Technical skills in system support, load management, safety compliance, and data logging.
- Behavioral competencies including problem-solving, resource management, and business focus.
