About the role
Greywood Hotels & Apartments is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in Ojodu-Berger, Lagos. This full-time position is vital for ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces remain clean, well-maintained, and welcoming for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and other assigned areas.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum rooms and public areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish room amenities.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the Supervisor immediately.
- Respond promptly to guest requests with excellent customer service.
- Use cleaning equipment safely and store supplies properly.
- Assist in laundry services when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification.
- Previous housekeeping experience in hotels or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical stamina to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
