About the role
IDP Education Limited is the world’s largest international student placement provider, helping students study in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, the UK, and the USA. We are looking for a Deputy Test Centre Administrator to join our team in Asaba, Delta State.
This position requires a high level of autonomy and commercial awareness. You will take ownership of the test centre’s operational and commercial performance, ensuring secure, compliant, and customer-focused IELTS testing services. The role has dual accountability for IELTS Operations and Compliance, as well as Business Development and Revenue Growth.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage daily activities, resolve challenges, and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure excellent candidate experience and customer service.
- Manage IELTS test administration, security, compliance, and quality assurance.
- Build strategic partnerships with educational institutions, study-abroad agencies, and corporate organisations.
- Execute marketing initiatives, conduct market research, and identify new business opportunities.
- Drive IELTS registrations, sales, lead generation, and revenue growth.
- Monitor operational performance, sales targets, and business reports.
Requirements
- University Degree in Social Sciences, Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in administration, operations, sales, business development, or customer service.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, organisational, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrable ability to generate leads, convert enquiries into registrations, and achieve targets.
- Strong understanding of data confidentiality, compliance, and operational procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, digital reporting tools, and CRM systems.
- Experience building relationships with educational institutions, corporate organisations, and agencies.
- Self-motivated, commercially minded, and able to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
