We are looking for a Deputy General Manager of Mechanical Maintenance to join our team at the Ibese Plant in Ogun State. This full-time position involves working with a dedicated team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the cement plant.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other departments to align maintenance and production processes.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Create detailed reports on maintenance activities for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and safety policies.
- Develop strategies to replace and upgrade older machinery and equipment.
- Supervise and manage the maintenance team.
- Manage the budget and coordinate with procurement to secure necessary materials and equipment.
Requirements
- BSc or HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 24 years of experience in mechanical maintenance of cement plants.
- Extensive knowledge of cement plant maintenance equipment and processes.
- Experience in cement manufacturing processes.
- Experience with budget management, procurement, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suites and knowledge of SAP.
- Ability to lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel.
