About the role
Spectrum Books Limited is seeking an experienced and organized Depot Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time position available in eight locations across Nigeria: Abuja, Kaduna, Benin City, Owerri, Lagos, Ibadan, Jos, and Yola. The role focuses on supervising daily depot operations, ensuring timely dispatch of sales orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The monthly salary for this position is between N170,000 and N200,000.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily depot activities and set performance expectations for the team.
- Conduct quarterly physical stock counts and handle final reconciliation.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests to prevent stock-outs.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all depot transactions.
- Liaise with the Marketing Operations team to fulfill customer orders on time.
- Verify and post all sales and transfer transactions on the ERP system.
- Handle walk-in customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Conduct on-the-job training for depot officers and assistants.
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in large depot or stock supervision.
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with inventory systems (ERP or simple apps).
- Understanding of internal control procedures.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
