About the role
Retrust Microfinance Bank, a subsidiary of Zylus Group, is seeking an experienced Deposit Mobilization Officer to join its team in Ikeja, Lagos. This full-time position focuses on expanding the bank’s deposit base by engaging with individual and corporate clients. The role is central to the bank’s mission of promoting financial inclusion and providing accessible banking solutions.
Responsibilities
- Mobilize financial deposits from individual and corporate customers.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to track industry trends.
- Grow deposit portfolios using effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners and colleagues.
- Meet and exceed deposit mobilization targets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) on Know Your Customer (KYC) in all transactions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in deposit mobilization and High Net Worth Individual (HNI) transactions within the financial sector.
- A Bachelor’s degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in a relevant field.
- Proven track record of achieving deposit and investment targets.
- Strong understanding of financial products and services.
- Excellent communication, sales, and marketing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
