EHA Clinics, a subsidiary of eHealth Africa, is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join their team in Sangotedo, Lagos. The role focuses on enhancing oral health and wellbeing through personalized treatment and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and dental therapist during patient consultations and procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Collect and record patient medical and dental histories, vital signs, and treatment information.
- Prepare patients and dental rooms for procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment.
- Perform aseptic procedures and assist in infection control by sterilizing instruments.
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following treatments.
- Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions.
- Perform office management tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and billing.
- Perform follow-up calls with patients.
Requirements
- Diploma in Dental Health Technician or Dental Surgery Technician.
- Must be registered with the Dental Therapists Registration Board of Nigeria with up-to-date registration.
