About the role
Ascentech Services Limited is a human resource solution provider based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in Ikeja. In this full-time position, you will collect, analyze, and interpret business data to support decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive growth. The salary is open to negotiation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to support business objectives.
- Analyze customer purchasing patterns, product performance, and sales team productivity.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Use Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools to generate actionable insights.
- Support management with data-driven forecasts and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate databases and ensure data integrity across reporting systems.
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor sales performance, stock movement, revenue, and business trends.
- Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret sales, inventory, and operational data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in data analysis or business reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
