About the role
Entourage Integrated Trust Limited is a financial firm specializing in micro and corporate loans. We are looking for a Credit Officer to join our team in Calabar, Cross River. In this full-time position, you will help clients acquire loans on time while ensuring all requirements are met. You will work across several locations in Calabar, including Mayne Avenue, Afokang, Mbukpa, Eta Agbor, Uwanse, and Mount Zion.
Responsibilities
- Prepare loan applications and review loan requests.
- Evaluate clients’ financial status and creditworthiness.
- Analyze risks and approve or reject loan requests.
- Monitor the progress of existing loans and set up payment plans.
- Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation.
- Follow up with clients about loan renewals.
- Handle daily and weekly repayment collections.
- Maintain updated records of loan applications.
Requirements
- NCE, OND, HND, or BSc Degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a credit officer, loan officer, or in similar roles.
- Hands-on experience with lending procedures and products.
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to create and process financial spreadsheets.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
