About the role
Entourage Integrated Trust Limited is a financial firm specializing in micro and corporate loans. We are looking for a Credit Officer to join our team in Owerri, Imo. This is a full-time position where you will facilitate lending by assessing client creditworthiness and processing necessary documentation. The role is available across multiple locations in Owerri, including World Bank Market, Site and Services, and Douglas Road.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate client creditworthiness and associated risks.
- Prepare and review loan applications.
- Set up payment plans and monitor loan progress.
- Collect daily and weekly repayments.
- Maintain accurate records of loan applications.
- Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation.
- Follow up with clients regarding loan renewals.
- Analyze risks to approve or reject loan requests.
Requirements
- NCE, OND, HND, or BSc in Banking and Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a credit officer, loan officer, or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to process financial spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on experience with lending procedures and products.
- Customer service experience.
