About the role
Oilserv Limited is a leading provider of integrated engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) services in the oil and gas sector. Incorporated in 1992 and operational since 1995, the company is looking for a specialist to bridge the gap between contract administration and claims defence. This full-time position is based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and validate cost and time impact analyses for variation requests before submission.
- Track and manage back-charge recovery against clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Provide should-cost and independent estimate benchmarking for major variations and claims.
- Support the Contract Manager and Group Contracts Manager with dispute documentation and evidence packs.
- Maintain burn-rate and PO-revision-history tracking templates across the group.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commercial/Contract Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in cost estimating, claims, or contract administration, ideally on pipeline/EPC or BOT concession projects.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC/EPC contract forms and variation/claims methodology.
- Advanced Excel and cost-modelling skills.
- Strong analytical and dispute-documentation skills.
