About the role
Milestone Boutique Apartments is seeking a dedicated Cook / Chef to join our team in Ojodu, Lagos. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food and service to our guests. You will help maintain the high standards expected by our brand while creating fresh, seasonal dishes inspired by various cuisines.
Responsibilities
- Cater to customer needs by delivering exceptional food and service.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety practices.
- Manage allergy reporting and ensure accurate information is provided to customers.
- Oversee budgeting, ordering, and stock control.
- Deliver consistent, high food standards in line with brand values.
- Create fresh, seasonal, and innovative dishes inspired by national and international cuisines.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of service styles and current food trends.
- Proactive, reliable, and hands-on approach to work.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Creative and innovative approach to menu development.
- Genuine love of food and teamwork.
- Excellent presentation, organisation, and time management skills.
- Proven experience in high-end hospitality or similar venues.
- Local knowledge and experience working in the area.
- Positive attitude and strong leadership skills.
- Passion for exceptional service and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a busy environment.
