About the role
Domeo Resources International is seeking a dedicated Cook to join their team in Abuja. You will report to the Head Cook, Outlet Manager, and TRM. This position focuses on preparing high-quality meals while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and portion controls.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and report any issues with ingredient freshness.
- Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff and assist in training new kitchen team members.
Requirements
- At least a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience as a cook, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting.
- Proficiency in various cooking methods, including grilling and frying.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Professional certification in culinary arts is an added advantage.
