About the role
Smit Lamnalco is a leading provider of integrated midstream marine services, dedicated to delivering safe and reliable support to terminals in Nigeria. We are seeking a Contract Manager to join our team in Port Harcourt. In this position, you will act as a trusted partner to our clients, driving efficiency and ensuring that all contractual obligations are met with a strong focus on client satisfaction and financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure operations are performed professionally, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
- Conduct regular performance review meetings based on pre-agreed parameters.
- Ensure all operations comply with company SLIMS policies, regulations, and SHEQ procedures.
- Collaborate with HR to provide adequate training and development for staff.
- Conduct annual performance appraisals for shore staff, Captains, and Chief Engineers.
- Provide input to annual budgets and monitor the financial performance of the contract.
Requirements
- Must currently reside in Nigeria.
- Relevant marine operating experience.
- Sea-going experience as Master or Chief Officer.
- In-depth understanding of the Marine Industry and Terminal Operations.
- Onshore management experience.
