About the role
JPatel and Sons Nigeria Limited is a private company with over 20 years of experience in road construction across Nigeria. They are looking for a Concrete and Earthworks Foreman to join their team in Kaduna. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality road infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise major road construction projects, including earthworks, pavement construction, asphalt laying, and finishing.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards while providing technical guidance to site teams.
- Oversee quality control and testing of construction materials, concrete, and drainage works.
- Coordinate site setting out, surveying, and road alignment in collaboration with surveyors.
- Manage site resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to minimize waste and optimize productivity.
- Monitor project progress, prepare site reports, and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum education qualification: Graduate (additional certification is an advantage).
- Relevant experience in road construction is required.
- Experience in concrete road construction is an added advantage.
