About the role

We are seeking a Compliance, Data Protection & Certification Manager to ensure the company maintains its licenses, ISO certifications, and regulatory standing. This role is critical for securing client trust and enabling external revenue growth by providing robust assurance evidence.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate attestations such as SOC 2 Type II, SOC 1, and PCI DSS readiness while maintaining the client assurance pack.
- Manage the policy cycle and ensure marketing and bid claims align with certified standards.
- Own the obligations register and compliance calendar across regulators including NDPC, CBN, NITDA, and NSITF.
- Oversee regulatory incident response clocks, including 24-hour CBN and 72-hour ngCERT/NDPC requirements.
- Plan and evidence data residency compliance against CBN and NITDA standards.
- Run the integrated management system for ISO 27001, 9001, 22301, and 20000-1, including internal audits and surveillance audits.
- Execute the data protection programme, including impact assessments, processor agreements, and staff training.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of NDPA 2023, GAID 2025, CBN, and NITDA frameworks.
- ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor or Implementer certification.
- Experience with at least one of ISO 9001, 22301, or 20000-1.
- SOC 2 or PCI DSS project experience.
- 7+ years in compliance, data protection, or management-system roles in a regulated technology company, fintech, or bank.
- NDPC-recognised DPO credential, CIPP/E, or CIPM is an advantage.
