About the role
Penafort Energy Limited is a diversified Nigerian company operating in energy, retail, beverages, and automotive services. We are looking for a responsible and safety-conscious Company Driver to provide reliable transportation for our personnel and authorized assignments. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong knowledge of Lagos roads, and a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport management, staff, and authorized passengers.
- Ensure timely delivery of personnel, documents, and goods.
- Adhere to approved routes, schedules, and management instructions.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections (tyres, brakes, engine, etc.).
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and working condition.
- Monitor servicing schedules, insurance, and statutory documentation.
- Keep accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and trips.
- Report mechanical faults or incidents promptly.
- Comply with traffic regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC qualification.
- 3–5 years of proven experience as a professional or company driver.
- Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle category.
- Good knowledge of Lagos roads and surrounding areas.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to use navigation applications.
- Physically fit, punctual, and dependable.
- Clean driving record with no history of serious violations.
- Must reside within the Festac Area, Lagos State.
