About the role
Paga is a leading payments company in Nigeria dedicated to making financial access simple for everyone. We are looking for a passionate storyteller to join our Marketing team as a Communications Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing an end-to-end communications plan for the Paga brand, its business units, and products. You will help stakeholders understand our impact and vision through compelling narratives, ensuring that every message aligns with our corporate objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute internal and external communications plans aligned with company strategy.
- Create executive speaking platforms, including speech writing and presentation development.
- Provide communications support for Business Unit Heads and the Office of the CEO during press and industry events.
- Oversee the development of communication strategies and brand campaigns across social media, events, and digital platforms.
- Write and edit press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials.
- Ensure the Paga brand voice is consistent across all projects, channels, and platforms.
- Analyze social data and metrics to continuously improve communication strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, or Advertising.
- 6+ years of experience in copywriting and content creation within advertising, digital marketing, journalism, or publishing.
- Completed mandatory NYSC.
- Strong understanding of the local media landscape and social media trends.
- Excellent digital, social, and integrated marketing experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
