This volunteer position is based in Ojo, Lagos, and is part of the LAVIDA Fiesta 1.0 initiative.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate content approvals with the marketing lead and management.
- Support the development of video scripts, creative briefs, and digital content.
- Assist with documenting approved planning activities and event milestones.
- Draft event announcements, captions, promotional copy, and communication materials.
- Check content for accuracy, consistency, and appropriate tone.
- Support public enquiries using approved information.
- Maintain an organised library of approved digital assets.
- Respect copyright, consent, confidentiality, and brand guidelines.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mass Communication, English, Journalism, Public Relations, Creative Writing, Media Studies, Digital Media, or a related discipline. OND holders with strong portfolios may also be considered.
- Preferably 1–2 years of experience in copywriting, digital communications, social media content, media production, public relations, or creative support.
- Familiarity with common digital content tools is desirable.
- Strong skills in copywriting, editing, storytelling, content planning, basic graphic design, and digital asset management.
- Ability to provide writing samples, design samples, or links to published work.
