About the role
Wema Bank Plc is seeking a Commercial Relationship Management Officer (CRMO) to join its sales team in Abuja. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with commercial and retail customers while driving business growth. You will be responsible for developing sales opportunities, promoting bank products, and ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Sales Management: Drive customer acquisition, manage existing commercial relationships, and present sales pitches to prospective clients.
- Risk Management: Ensure documentation is valid, adhere to KYC compliance, and analyze collateral risks to minimize losses.
- Financial Management: Analyze financial statements, evaluate loan documents, and contribute to the growth of deposits and loans.
- Customer Service: Maintain high service standards, resolve complaints effectively, and provide holistic needs analysis to key clients.
- People Management: Collaborate with branch peers, exhibit leadership skills, and uphold the bank’s values and safety compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum of a First Degree in any discipline.
- 3 to 8 years of cognate experience in sales and marketing.
- Professional Certification: CIBN.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Digital savvy with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork.
