About the role
Elevare Human Solutions Limited is recruiting a Commercial Director to lead commercial operations for a growing FMCG company. The company is preparing to launch and scale its portfolio of Seasonings, Snacks, and Breakfast products. This full-time role is based in Lagos and offers a monthly salary between N3,000,000 and N4,000,000.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop high-performing sales and marketing teams.
- Coordinate commercial planning with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance departments.
- Build and manage distributor networks and strategic customer relationships.
- Develop and execute the company’s commercial growth strategy.
- Drive market intelligence, competitor analysis, and business expansion.
- Oversee product launches, market penetration, and revenue growth.
- Lead national sales, distribution, and route-to-market development.
- Manage commercial budgets, pricing, profitability, and collections.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive FMCG commercial experience.
- At least 5 years in senior commercial leadership roles.
- Substantial packaged food experience, particularly in seasonings, snacks, or breakfast products.
- Demonstrable experience in product launches and general trade execution.
- Strong experience in Nigerian FMCG markets and commercial operations.
- Experience managing commercial budgets, profitability, and multi-regional teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- MBA is strongly preferred.
