About the role
Multipro Consumer Products Limited (MCPL) is Nigeria’s largest company in sales, haulage, and logistics. Founded in 1996 as part of the Tolaram Group, MCPL has grown to manage 13 brands across categories like noodles, snacks, milk, and homecare. We are looking for a CNG Fleet Maintenance & Operation Manager to lead the technical and operational aspects of our Compressed Natural Gas vehicle fleet.
Responsibilities
- Monitor vehicle uptime, breakdowns, maintenance costs, and overall performance.
- Manage CNG refuelling operations and ensure compliance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain technical records, inspection reports, maintenance history, and operational dashboards.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for CNG vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and inspection requirements.
- Coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), service providers, and CNG station operators.
- Monitor CNG consumption, maintenance expenditure, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct and coordinate vehicle safety inspections and CNG system checks.
Requirements
- HSE and CNG technical training.
- B.Sc./B.Eng. or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and technical reporting.
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with CNG vehicles and CNG conversion systems.
- Relevant professional certification in automotive maintenance, CNG technology, or gas safety is an added advantage.
