About the role
Bradfield Consulting is seeking a Cloud Sales Executive to drive growth in recurring revenue. You will be responsible for winning new cloud customers and expanding existing accounts, with a primary focus on fintechs, microfinance banks, insurers, and other data-sensitive Nigerian businesses. This role is particularly relevant in the context of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) data residency requirement.
The position is based in Lagos and is a full-time role within the Information Technology industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proof of concept to contract signing, onboarding handover, and renewal.
- Grow and retain existing cloud customers by securing renewals, selling additional capacity, and identifying churn risks early.
- Discover client needs regarding workloads and regulatory obligations to position the right cloud services, including compute, storage, and disaster recovery.
- Build and maintain your own pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals, and industry events.
- Manage Proof of Concept (POC) scopes and drive them to signed contracts.
- Use regulatory frameworks like the CBN data residency requirement and NDPA to build business cases for CTOs and compliance officers.
- Develop partner and channel relationships with core banking and fintech software vendors.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of B2B sales experience, including at least 2 years selling cloud, hosting, data centre, SaaS, or managed IT services.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, ideally with recurring or subscription revenue.
- A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundation-level cloud certification (OCI Foundations, Microsoft AZ-900, or AWS Cloud Practitioner) or a commitment to obtain one within 6 months.
- Experience using a CRM system such as Zoho, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
- An existing network within Nigerian fintechs, microfinance banks, or insurers is a strong advantage.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, including pricing, margins, and forecasting.
