About the role
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international organization providing assistance to populations in distress. We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team in Maiduguri, Borno. This is a contract position focused on maintaining a clean and safe living environment for our staff.
Responsibilities
- Ensure water supplies are sufficient in kitchens and showers during water cuts.
- Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, and other rooms in MSF houses.
- Support the cook with washing up and kitchen cleaning.
- Check that toilets are stocked with paper, soap, and condoms.
- Prepare hot water for tea or coffee and refill drinking water upon arrival.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Ensure doors and windows are properly locked.
- Handle laundry, ironing, and other housekeeping tasks.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper and soap as needed.
