About the role
George Houston Resources Limited (GHR) is a human resource development and management consulting firm based in Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team in Lagos. This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and alternate Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and quotations.
- Supervise construction and project activities.
- Coordinate with contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Conduct project inspections.
- Monitor project progress to ensure work meets required standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND qualification.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of project supervision and site activities.
- Ability to prepare BOQs and quotations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant experience in civil engineering or construction is an added advantage.
