About the role
Tongyi Group Limited is seeking a Chinese Translator to join our team in Jabi, Abuja. This full-time position focuses on bridging the communication gap between Chinese and English-speaking employees, clients, and stakeholders. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate translation and interpretation to support our daily business activities.
Responsibilities
- Translate emails, reports, and official correspondence between Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Provide interpretation support during meetings, discussions, and business activities.
- Ensure clear and accurate communication across different teams and departments.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information and company documents.
- Assist with administrative and operational tasks as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Chinese Language, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Fluency in both spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Strong translation and interpretation skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good understanding of Chinese and English business cultures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other communication tools.
- Previous experience as a Chinese Translator or Interpreter is an advantage.
