About the role
We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to lead our engineering and maintenance operations. You will ensure high equipment reliability, efficient production, safety, and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults.
- Lead and supervise the Engineering and Maintenance team.
- Manage engineering projects, contractors, and resources.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering and maintenance operations.
- Ensure equipment reliability and efficient operation.
- Maintain safety and engineering standards.
- Plan and oversee maintenance activities.
Requirements
- 15–20 years’ relevant experience.
- Knowledge of industrial machinery, production equipment, and utilities.
- Experience in a senior engineering or maintenance leadership role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of maintenance planning, budgeting, and safety practices.
- B.Sc. / HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Added Advantages:
- Knowledge of boilers, generators, compressors, pumps, and conveyors.
- Professional certification.
- Experience in agro-processing, feed production, food processing, or manufacturing.
- Experience with automation, instrumentation, and industrial electrical systems.
