About the role
Heirs Technologies Limited is empowering Africa’s digital transformation through innovative, locally tailored solutions. We are looking for a Change Manager to support the rollout of Converge 2.0, a new ERP system replacing the legacy version. This role is based in Lagos and operates on a 6-month contract, with approximately 90% of the time spent on-site within the assigned portfolio’s location(s).
You will serve as the trusted voice and coach for Converge 2.0, guiding users from awareness to everyday use. You will work closely with the Senior Change Manager, Product team, and local IT, HR, and Finance leads to ensure successful adoption across one to two Heirs Holdings Group companies.
Responsibilities
- Inform: Explain changes, prepare impact statements, and keep the release roadmap visible to all user groups.
- Listen: Surface resistance early, engage executives, and manage the concern log to ensure timely responses.
- Enable: Maintain quick reference guides, coach super-users, and confirm training completion before Go/No-Go decisions.
- Support Go-Live: Assist with user acceptance testing, route issues to the support team, and be present during hypercare.
- Sustain: Track adoption metrics, prevent drift to legacy systems, and hand over adoption notes at the end of the programme.
- Reporting: Send weekly status reports to the Senior Change Manager and attend weekly huddles.
Requirements
- First Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–4 years of experience in change management, training, or adoption work on ERP, HRIS, or payroll rollouts.
- Proven experience engaging executives, managers, and front-line users through a system go-live.
- Experience with multi-site rollouts, SaaS products, or HR/payroll go-lives is preferred.
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or healthcare is an advantage.
- ADKAR or Prosci change practitioner certification is an advantage.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, analytical reporting, integrity, ownership, and learning agility.
