About the role
Elite Talent Placement is seeking a Centre Manager to lead operations in Benin, Edo. You will oversee laboratory, imaging, and patient services to ensure they are delivered safely and on time. This role reports to the Group General Manager and focuses on growing patient volumes, revenue, and reputation while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations including laboratory, imaging, reception, and sample collection.
- Maintain quality systems, SOPs, and calibration records to ensure accurate results.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with bodies such as MLSCN, RRBN, and NNRA.
- Manage patient experience, confidentiality, and data protection under Nigerian law.
- Handle equipment maintenance, supplier management, and procurement within approved limits.
- Manage financial controls, including billing, collections, and HMO/corporate receivables.
- Lead and manage staff, including rosters, appraisals, and training.
- Collaborate with marketing to grow referrals and corporate accounts.
- Submit weekly reports on operations, quality, and financial performance.
Requirements
- B.Sc/HND in Medical Laboratory Science, Health Services Management, Public Health, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in diagnostics or healthcare operations, with at least 3 years in management.
- Relevant professional registration in good standing.
- Knowledge of laboratory operations, quality systems, and Nigerian healthcare regulations.
- Strong financial and people-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with clinicians, HMOs, and corporates.
