About the role
Join Skipper Eye-Q Hospitals, an international eye care chain with 19 years of experience and over 10 million patients treated. We are looking for a dedicated CCTV Monitoring Officer to help protect our facilities in Victoria Island, Lagos. This full-time position focuses on surveillance, safety, and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Monitor live and recorded camera feeds to detect suspicious behavior or safety hazards.
- Track suspect movements and coordinate with on-site guards or emergency services when needed.
- Perform daily checks on cameras, monitors, and recording software to ensure proper function.
- Securely archive and back up video footage in compliance with data protection rules.
- Maintain detailed shift logs and write incident reports for management or legal inquiries.
- Restrict access to the control room to authorized personnel only.
Requirements
- OND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field, or a high school diploma with dedicated security training.
- Prior experience in CCTV operations, technical maintenance, or security monitoring.
- Strong attention to detail, visual memory, and the ability to maintain concentration during long shifts.
- Familiarity with CCTV hardware, analog/IP camera systems, and DVR/NVR setups.
- Clear verbal and written reporting skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
