About the role
Cedarose HR Consult is seeking two Cashiers to join their team in Asaba and Warri, Delta State. This is a full-time position focused on delivering excellent customer service and managing daily cash transactions in a retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Process customer payments via POS, cash, or EFT and ensure accurate pricing on all products.
- Manage cash drawers by evacuating funds and remitting them to the Accounts Officer as instructed.
- Maintain a first-come, first-served queue system and build positive relationships with customers.
- Accumulate loyalty points and inform new customers about the company’s loyalty program.
- Double-check transactions, print receipts, and bag items carefully according to type and quantity.
- Ensure customers do not leave belongings at the till and direct complex queries to supervisors.
Requirements
- Resident of Warri or Asaba, Delta State.
- Age between 18 and 35 years at the time of engagement.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a retail environment.
- Hold an HND, B.Sc, or M.Sc degree.
- Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program or possess an exemption letter.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation.
