About the role
Solidarités International is an international humanitarian NGO with over 40 years of experience. We support populations affected by conflicts and disasters by providing food, water, and shelter. This full-time position is based in Monguno, Borno, and is open to both internal and external candidates.
Responsibilities
- Mobilize and sensitize communities and stakeholders on project objectives and timelines.
- Lead beneficiary selection and ensure proper training for income-generating activities.
- Manage cash distributions, including beneficiary registration and verification of goods.
- Recruit, train, and supervise daily workers for site tasks.
- Prepare biweekly and monthly work plans and implementation reports.
- Act as a liaison with local authorities to identify needs and grievances.
- Facilitate cash utilization sessions and maintain accurate project records.
Requirements
- 2 years of practical experience with INGOs or 3–4 years with National NGOs in a similar role.
- Mandatory experience in Income Generating Activities (IGA) and Cash distribution (CVA).
- B.Sc. / HND or equivalent in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business Management, or Rural Development.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel), RedRose, and Kobo.
- Fluency in English, Hausa, Kanuri, and other local languages.
- Experience working in Monguno is required.
