Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach concepts such as entrepreneurship, commerce, marketing, and business management.
- Prepare lesson notes, assignments, teaching materials, and examination questions.
- Monitor and evaluate students’ academic performance and provide additional support where needed.
- Maintain classroom discipline and accurate academic records.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes critical thinking and creativity.
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc. / B.Ed. / B.A.) or HND in a relevant discipline.
- Strong knowledge of the Business Studies subject area.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to prepare lesson plans and deliver effective lessons.
- Good interpersonal skills, patience, and a passion for working with children.
- Previous teaching experience is desirable.
- A teaching qualification or professional teaching certification (TRCN) is an added advantage.
