About the role
Grand Oak Limited (GOL) is a leading manufacturer of spirits and wines. We are looking for a Business Manager to drive regional growth and revenue. This full-time position is available in two locations: Jos, Plateau State, and Yola, Adamawa State. You will lead a team of sales professionals and build strong relationships with customers and partners to expand our market share.
Responsibilities
- Prepare budgets, forecast expenditure, and manage costs effectively.
- Coach and mentor Team Managers and VSRs through regular meetings and field visits.
- Manage distributors by developing joint business plans.
- Supervise sales partners and guide the team to expand the customer base.
- Ensure adherence to stock policies and manage distribution across all areas and depots.
Requirements
- A First Degree or HND from a recognised institution in Economics, Business Administration, or a numerate course (minimum Second Class Lower or Lower Credit).
- At least 5 years of cognate experience.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in wholesale and retail processes.
- An MBA and professional certifications are added advantages.
