About the role
OmniRetail Africa is on a mission to accelerate progress for trade value chain stakeholders by unlocking access to services and working capital. We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead the sales and adoption of our financial solutions within the Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafés (HORECA) sector.
Responsibilities
- Drive the sales and adoption of the company’s financial products and services within the HORECA sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
- Achieve assigned monthly sales, revenue, and customer acquisition targets.
- Identify and acquire new customers across hotels, restaurants, cafés, and other hospitality businesses.
- Conduct field visits, sales presentations, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates on business development activities.
- Identify business opportunities, generate leads, and convert prospects into active customers.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 4–6 years of experience in business development, sales, or financial services.
- Ability to independently generate leads, close deals, and meet sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to undertake regular field sales activities within Lekki, Ajah, and surrounding areas.
- Existing relationships or experience within the HORECA industry will be highly advantageous.
- Experience selling financial products or services is an added advantage.
